Circa 1890, mahogany and inlaid Art Nouveau side chair. The chair is in the Queen Anne style with its top and splat inlaid in metal, Mother of Pearl and copper, with a pattern that is typical of Art Nouveau. There is a stuff over seat and to the front a shaped apron which continues around the side. The back legs are turned and out swept and the front legs have small quarter blocks; these cabriole legs finish in a simple foot.
