Circa 1890. Late Victorian straight grained walnut wellington chest. The polished rectangular top with a double moulded fore-edge above the bank of drawers that are flanked by pillars, one of them a locking pillar with working lock and key. The 7 drawers with original late Victorian brass loop handles, mahogany drawer linings (sign of quality) and fine dovetails, all sitting on an enclosed plinth base.
