Circa 1890, fine quality mahogany Wellington chest. The solid mahogany top has a moulded edge and beneath this is a series of five graduating drawers with brass swan neck handles and leather lined bottoms. On each side there is a pilaster with a capital at the top, which both function as locking arms. Below the bottom drawer is a moulded edge and a breakout section of the plinth which follows the form of the pilasters. Excellent condition, good colour and functional piece.
