Circa 1880, late Victorian glass chandelier. The very stylish cast foliate top above a series of discs with faceted and elongated glass drops. The main body is in the form of a bag with a festoon of small faceted glass drops. They meet at a large cast bezel in the centre in form of grapes and vines, with several tiers of glass, giving a tapering waterfall effect. On the outside are several Rococo style ormolu arms with raised fluted cups and stylish drip trays originally for candles, which again have drops beneath them. There is a large cast ormolu finial at the base which finishes off the chandelier nicely. Prices includes re-wiring.
