Circa 1880. A late Victorian ebonized and amboyna framed mirror. The rectangular frame with a raised inlaid section and marquetry panel to the centre with ebony boxwood and kingwood inlay. An ebonized concave section beneath and further crossbanding, including boxwood and amboyna, with quarter brackets on the top. The large original mirror plate is in excellent condition with no foxing, contained in an ebonized slip. To the base there are further brackets at the side with similar inlay as the top, all resting on two squat bun feet.
