Circa 1880, Italian inlaid occasional table from the Sorrento region. The octagonal top has a central inlaid panel of dancers with various concentric inlays, including geometric and diamond patterns in satinwood, boxwood and walnut. The apron has chequered inlay similar to the foredge and it stands on an unusual ring turned column. This tapers from top to bottom, finishing on four downward facing scrolling feet with parquetry inlay to the top.
