Circa 1880, freestanding George II style kneehole desk in figured walnut. The rectangular top with inset rounded corners and a green hide writing surface with degree of wear. It sits over 3 cedar-lined drawers to the frieze with original engraved brass handles and escutcheons, which is then followed by banks of 3 graduated conforming drawers. All standing on shaped ogee bracket feet.
