Circa 1890. Exceptional quality mahogany chest of drawers by Morisons of Edinburgh in the French style. The polished top with moulded edges above two short and one long graduated drawers, with fiddleback mahogany Art Nouveau design panels and gilt bronze swanneck loop handles. The drawers with brass locks and mahogany liners (a sign of quality), all supported on a moulded base with ogee bracket feet. Lovely original colour and patina.
