Product Description

Circa 1890, Exhibition quality, rare double Sutherland table or etagere by the famous cabinetmakers, Morison of Edinburgh. The serpentine shaped table flaps have profuse marquetry inlaid and figured walnut on the top layer and a rosewood lower layer, all with kingwood banding and cast brass rims. The top section is on an arched support with ormolu mounts, and the lower section is on cabriole legs with ormolu sabots.
