Circa 1890, neat size carved oak open bookcase. With a carved fore-edge and a deep apron to the front with C scrolls, foliate carving and a prominent green man design to the centre. With 3 adjustable beech shelves that have a beaded fore-edge, and a carved geometric pattern down the sides. It all stands on squat bracket feet with a shaped apron beneath. Beneath each shelf is a small shaped section of cloth, originally to keep books clean.
