Circa 1870, Victorian gilded, and carved wood console table with marble top. With half rounded edge to the top, and made in a high rococo style, with carved shells and foliate carving to the front. There are 2 cabriole legs to the front with carved floral motifs, acanthus laves and relief work, with this same pattern found on the back legs. The concave sides have shell and similar rococo carving, with a large carved shell uniting 4 stretchers at the base.
