Circa 1860, early Victorian mahogany octagonal occasional table. The top has well carved edges which follow the form of the top and beneath this is a carved tulip shaped stem with carved petals. The unusual triangular base has canted corners and hollow sides (or a hyperboloid platform base). There are 3 carved roundels on each corner and it finishes on an elegant foliate carving with bun feet.
