Circa 1870, unusual Victorian mahogany chest of drawers/side cabinet. The rectangular top has nice figured mahogany. At the front is a small apron and beneath this is an ogee moulding which runs around the chest. There is a combination of two short over two longer drawers which are mahogany lined and have nice quality handles. Beneath this is a cupboard with fielded panelled doors and a working lock. This opens to reveal a shelved interior. Beneath this is a moulding similar to the top and whole piece stands on a polished enclosed plinth. Good colour.
