Product Description
Circa 1860, mid-Victorian mahogany armchair. With large mahogany shaped and curved top rail with simple beading beneath and down the inside of the arms. With a stuffover seat that has needlepoint upholstery, and two shaped uprights and a large block at the side ensuring a robust and sturdy arm. The back legs are square, tapering and slightly outswept whereas the front legs have a bulbous top section, ring turning, tapering and finish on a raised toe.
