Circa 1860, very stylish pair of Victorian oak dining chairs. The backs are almost square in shape and are upholstered on the front and back. The frame itself has a nice moulded edge on the front and back. There is a large deep buttoned upholstered seat. Beneath this are four wonderful coloured, excellent quality barley sugar legs which finish on a block and are united by a similar H stretcher. At the front are two oak cups which are scooped out with the original brass and white porcelain castors inside. The back feet are a similar shape but in a solid piece without castors. The chairs are in excellent condition.
