Circa 1860, fine pair of mid Victorian carved mahogany club chairs. The top rail has carved knuckle ends and is upholstered in deep button green leather. Below this are curved shaped uprights, a centre splat and a large stuff over seat. The seat is serpentine shaped with a wonderful shaped apron below it. At the front are carved cabriole legs standing on brass cup tipped castors. The back legs are turned and out swept finishing on castors also. The chairs are very stylish and super quality.
