Circa 1860, pair of mahogany Chippendale style dining chairs. With shaped top rail and central ribbon pattern amongst fretwork of gothic sections and foliate carving. Both seats have large stuffover seats (upholstered in horse hair) with buttons in the centre and brass studding securing the piped edges. On square, outswept back legs and chamfered front legs. All supported on stretchers.
