The 2 straps for locking the pilasters at the front have carved corbels, and the right hand side is hinged. All drawers are full length with 2 knob handles and graduate from top to bottom. The front of the drawers and the gables have grained walnut veneers and beneath the base drawer the plinth projects slightly forward. It is polished on the facing and the whole piece stands on an enclosed plinth, and has a key.
