Circa 1870, mid Victorian mahogany whatnot, with four rectangular tiers with rounded corners and chamfered edges. The top tier is finished with four stylish turned finials with extended tops. Between each tier are turned and tapering columns. At the base is a full length drawer with original knob handles and ash liners indicating that the whatnot is probably Scottish. All standing on bulbous turned tapering feet finishing on brass cup castors. The back is polished making the piece freestanding.
