Product Description
Circa 1870, mid Victorian mahogany toilet mirror. The large framed oval mirror has its original glass and is held in place by 2 cast brass butterflies. It is in turn supported by an unusual twisted foliate upright that is held in place by a large ribbed cluster and a small acanthus leaf beneath. The base is oval shaped at the front, flat at the back and in flamed mahogany, with a tapering fore-edge and an ogee moulding that follows the form of the base.
