Product Description

The moulded fore edge follows the shape of the credenza and has excellent colour. Below this is a simple frieze which has marquetry inlay and this runs all the way around the credenza. There is a stylish beading below this and one large door which is a cornucopia of inlays, burr walnuts, geometric patterns and in the centre is a wonderful gilt brass mounted sevres plaque depicting two cherubs. There are curved pilasters on each side of the door with capitols and spirally ebonised inlay. Each end of the credenza has bow fronted glass which is again framed in a stylised brass bezel. There is moulding at the bottom and the whole piece stands on a plinth with a stylish apron. Wonderful neat Victorian credenza.
