Circa 1860. A neat sized stained beech framed Dutch marquetry inlaid armchair. The shaped cresting rail, elegant vase shaped splat, all smothered in Dutch marquetry. Two simple curved arms supporting on shaped uprights, again covered in marquetry, drop in seat pad, serpentine seat rail to the front and shaped to the sides. Back legs turned and slightly out-swept. Cabriole front legs with quarter blocks finishing on a simple animal ball and claw foot with inlaid marquetry on the knees and facings.
