Circa 1870, unusual oval Dutch brass jardinière on stand. The elongated oval jardinière has a folded bezel top over castings of bouquets of flowers and swags and tails. On either side are lion mask ring handles. At the bottom of the jardinière is a deep apron and beneath this is the stand which is separate. There are foliate castings at the front and the four rectangular legs are united by a pair of U shaped stretchers, and finish on hairy paw feet.
