Circa 1860. Quality Biedermeier chest of neat proportions with excellent colour and patination. The rectangular top with rounded corners in quarter-matched, flame mahogany over three full-length drawers (with an unusually larger central drawer) all with circular mahogany escutcheons and two small finely-turned knobs with mother of pearl inlay, with deep beading between the drawers. All over squat cabriole legs with solid quarter blocks and finishing on simple pad feet.
