Circa 1870, mid Victorian mahogany shaped occasional table. The solid mahogany top is almost in the form of a flower head with its raised moulded edge, above a mahogany barley sugar tapering column. At the end of the column there is a large circular bezel, a bulbous section and the whole piece stands on a simple but stylish tripod base with chamfered fore-edges, simple cabriole feet with carved roundels between each of the legs. The table is clean and sturdy.
