Circa 1870, exhibition quality pair of Victorian rosewood chairs. With foliate carving to the back, wheatsheafs to either side and C scrolls to the centre. The large stuffover seat has been recently re-upholstered and it has a rosewood apron leading on to tapering, outswept back legs and a large shell motif to the front apron. With cabriole legs, finishing on squat C scrolls.
