Circa 1870, pair of bronze statutes on marble plinths. The pair of bronzes have a wonderful brown patination, and a bright cast with fine detail. They depict a pair of gentlemen with their hats, feathers, gowns and boots. One figure has their sword drawn and the other has his hand resting on the hilt, as if ready to spring to action. They are dressed in the style of 17th Century continental gentlemen. The bronzes are stylish and clean.
