Circa 1850, early Victorian Scottish column chest in flame mahogany. The rectangular top with banded fore-edge sits above a long secret frieze drawer and 3 ogee fronted, deep drawers with original Bramah locks (which are a sign of quality). The 3 further graduated long drawers have unusual original turned knobs, and are flanked by turned pillars with capitals. It is all over a plinth base and turned feet.
