Circa 1850, early Victorian mahogany hall stand of unusual proportions and style. The hall stand is built on a single upright piece of mahogany with bevelled edges and off this there are cross sections of various sizes. All the cross sections are held in position by very stylish carved mahogany brackets, and there are 15 various sized turned solid mahogany hooks. The bottom has open fretwork which supports a large recess or drip tray and stands on 4 squat bun feet. Unusual piece of Victoriana.
