Circa 1850, Victorian Dutch walnut display cabinet or bookcase. The shaped domed top has a moulded cornice and is surmounted by a pierced and carved foliate cartouche. The twin astragal glazed doors open to an interior with a velvet lined back and shaped shelves. The base has 3 full-length bombe front drawers, with their original cast brass rococo handles and escutcheons. There are glazed sides and it is all supported on shaped pilasters over bold ball and claw feet.
