Circa 1830, exhibition quality rosewood library table of the William IV period. The rectangular shaped table has a profusely carved, gadrooned edge which continues on all sides. The front frieze has two drawers, and there are dummy drawers to the back, with an egg and dart beading below this. It Is on turned and fluted legs, with a cross stretcher for stability, and beneath is a gadrooned carving decoration to the bezel. It is all on a platform base finishing on animal feet.
