Circa 1835, William IV mahogany oval centre table with a solid top in wonderful selected timber with an ogee moulded edge above a nice shaped apron. The faceted stem of the table tapers in the centre and elongates into an almost bowl like finish. Beneath this is a carved bezel with a form of gadroon carving. The table stands on a stylish concave platform base with a rounded moulded edge, and simple apron with square beading beneath. The castors are hidden in a hollow mahogany cup. The table is excellent condition and very stylish.
