Circa 1830, large mahogany sarcophagus shaped wine cooler. With a flat surface to the top of the raised, hinged lid, opening to an uninterrupted interior and the exterior with escutcheon with cast brass ring handle decorated with vines and grapes. There are several panels to the wine cooler framed with a ribbed beading, with canted, tapering corners and further ribbed section to the base. Standing on large paw feet with brass castors.
