Circa 1830, George IV Scottish sofa table in beautiful figured Spanish mahogany, by William Trotter of Edinburgh. The top has a typical Scottish beading on the fore edge and around the drawers. This is supported by a square acanthus carved column with splayed ends, on a shaped base with fluted bun feet containing hidden castors. Lovely original colour and patina.
