Circa 1820. A good George IV mahogany hall chair. The solid shaped back with elegant cresting rail, scrolling ends, with a raised circular panel in the center and further styling to the sides. The solid seat with simple fore edge and simple seat rail, to the front there is two carved quarter fans. Back legs are square and slightly out swept, front legs are turned, carved and tapering and finishing on a turned toe. The chair has excellent colour and patination.
