Circa 1820, Dutch marquetry 2 part display cabinet. The top with its typical Dutch stepped sections has flat pieces on the cornice for putting vases and a carved section in the centre. Below this is an arched and astragal glazed door. Inside is lined with felt and has 3 shaped shelves. The gables have 2 large panels profusely inlaid with typical Dutch marquetry showing urns and flowers. Where the top sits on the base there is a small border again with floral marquetry on the front. At the base are 2 raised fielded panelled doors, and inside are 2 adjustable shelves which are felt lined also. Beneath this section there is a chamfered apron with floral marquetry again. The cabinet stands on 4 block feet with floral marquetry inlay. The cabinet is a neat size and good quality.
