Circa 1820, exhibition quality Scottish Regency rosewood sofa table, in the manner of William Trotter. The rectangular top in quality figured rosewood with rounded corners and cross-banded edges, over 2 cock-beaded frieze drawers with original turned rosewood handles and mahogany liners and flanked by foliate carving. With faux matching drawers to the rear; all supported on rectangular trestles with a ring turned stretcher with carved roundels. The plinth bases with acanthus leaf decorations are on faceted, turned feet with hidden brass castors.
