Circa 1820, Exhibition quality Scottish Regency pollard oak side table. The rectangular top is in mirror matched, highly figured pollard oak with straight-grain oak line inlay. There are ebonised and crossbanded edges and it has a panelled frieze with ebonised mouldings including a full-length drawer. It has double marquetry and string inlaid panels to the drawer and a central inlaid roundel. There are turned and fluted legs with acanthus carvings above an inlaid block and tapered fluted feet.
