Circa 1815, Regency rosewood sofa table by William Trotter of Edinburgh. The table has a stylish rosewood top, below this there are four unusual panels with decorative gilded lead beadings on each corner of the table. There are drawers below the apron with the classic Trotter quilling. The table stands on a classic lyre-end with a stretcher and sabre legs ending in cast brass hairy paw castors. These are the original castors which have brass discs sandwiched with a central piece of wood. The table is in excellent condition.
