Circa 1810, very stylish Regency mahogany and ebonised inlaid linen press. The stylish architectural pediment has raised moulded sides, over the flamed mahogany frieze. There are two doors framed with crossbanded mahogany, ebonised beading and two panels with matching wonderfully selected flame mahogany. The panels are also inlaid with ebonised stringing with a Greek key design. The bezel on the door is brass and reeded. Inside are the original five mahogany faced oak lined slides. The inside of the doors are also polished. Beneath the top section is a small ogee moulding, and the base has a configuration of two short over two long graduating drawers with stylish cast brass knob handles and oak liners. The whole piece stands on raised French bracket feet. Excellent colour and condition.
