Circa 1815, large Regency mahogany breakfast table. The rectangular top has rounded corners and reeded edges. The top is made from two pieces of wood, with wonderful selected flame mahogany. Beneath the top is the original spring loaded clasp. The table looks like it was originally hinged on one side and is now fixed. The table is supported by a large rectangular block, on a turned bulbous column with a reeded bezel at the base, standing on four stylish reeded sabre legs finishing on hairy paw feet with brass castors underneath. The table will seat 8 people comfortably. Great colour, sturdy and functional.
