Product Description
Circa 1820, Regency brass inlaid rosewood centre table. The circular top in finely figured rosewood with brass inlay and a moulded cross banded fore-edge, sits over a cross banded frieze with cast ormolu foliate mounts. The underside of the table and rails have faux rosewood decoration and the original ormolu tilt-top clip. It is all supported on a turned pedestal with spiralled fluting, fluted baluster, turned decorations, double ormolu banding and gadrooned collar. Finishing on a brass-inlaid, shaped platform on deeply carved claw feet.
