Circa 1815, pair of Scottish mahogany dining chairs. With curved back rail and scrolling centre, the centre splat has a carved feature contained in a ribbed and curved cross rail. The ribbing on the back continues down to the drop-in seat pad and down the front legs. The sabre front legs are reeded and the back legs are splayed, with the chairs both covered in blue striped fabric.
