Circa 1800, Set of 12 Scottish, late George III mahogany dining chairs. The set consists of 10 single chairs and 2 armchairs, all with long rectangular curved splats with a flame mahogany centre. The edges of each seat pad have an ogee moulding with a flat apron underneath. The back legs are square and are slightly outswept and the front legs are square and tapering.
