Circa 1790, pair of Scottish George III mahogany dining chairs. With their elegant top rail which is reeded and has foldout sections on each end. The chairs have a drop pin seat pad with a reeded tea caddy moulded edge on the front which continues down the front of the legs. The back legs are square and slightly outswept towards the base. The chairs have H stretchers and a stretcher between the back legs.
