Circa 1800, late George III mahogany fold over tea table. The rectangular top has rounded corners at the front. The top is hinged and opens to reveal a polished interior. Beneath this is a deep apron with ebony inlay and a ribbed beaded edge. At the front is a single drawer with cast brass handles with stylish back plates. The legs are square and tapering with an inlaid panel of ebony, and finish on raised brass toes with brass castors. Both back legs are hinged and swing out to support the top when open. There are old repairs in the top, nevertheless the table is still a good period table.
