Circa 1800, late George III Scottish oak country chair. With shaped top rail and splat with two sturdy uprights. The solid seat has a needle point cushion with floral decoration, and is above a simple apron with peg dowels between the joints. All standing on 4 square legs with rounded corners, united by stretchers to front and sides.
