Circa 1810. Late George III mahogany bow fronted chest of drawers, providence Ex Rossi Priory, Perthshire. The top in well figured mahogany with an ebonized fore edge and deep frieze, with a configuration of two short, over three further graduating drawers, each of the drawers has the original cast brass knob handles, with decoration on the facing and elegant back plate. Beneath the bottom drawer there is a beading and a shaped frieze which continues around the sides, all resting on four elegant French bracket feet. The chest is mellow in colour.
