Circa 1720, George I walnut dining chair. The high back has a cartouche shaped, centred vase with paper folds to the sides and the shaped top rail. The curved uprights continue down to form the outswept back legs and it has a deep apron leading on to cabriole legs with quarter blocks at the front. The legs are united by cross stretchers.
