Circa 1890, Chinese rosewood stand, the top with a shaped variegated marble insert and carved beaded fore edge above a classic Chinese apron with open fretwork and foliate carving. The top of the legs are well carved and have almost a dragon like figure on them. The cabriole legs have relief carving all the way down and finish on ball and claw feet. There is a stylish shaped understretcher with carving on the top and a central roundel of a flower. Good colour and excellent condition.
